When will I be charged and when does my first box ship?

Subscriptions are billed on the 7th of each billing cycle. Your first charge occurs on the 7th of the month following signup, and we ship within that first week (or coordinate local pickup). Details are confirmed at checkout.

What is a provenance card?

A note paired with each roll covering emulsion batch, expiry date, how and where it was stored, and our metering and processing recommendations.

What kind of film can I expect?

Our inventory focuses on the rare, the well-preserved, and the unusual. You might receive expired consumer stocks in exceptional condition, unique motion picture films rolled for still cameras, or hard-to-find professional emulsions. Everything has been rigorously cold-stored.

What makes the “premium stock” in the Curator tier special?

The third roll in the Curator tier is always a highly sought-after, highly valued, or permanently discontinued emulsion that we have in very limited quantities. It's a chance to shoot legendary stocks that are otherwise difficult or expensive to source.

How does local pickup work?

If you are in San Francisco, you can waive shipping and pick up your rolls in person. We offer pickup in the Inner Sunset. We will email you when your cycle is ready to coordinate a handoff.

How do I cancel?

Email us or cancel through your Square subscription receipt links. We are happy to help with timing so you are not charged for another cycle.
